I was bom in Lusaka, Zambia on Valentine's Day, 1978. I spent most of my childhood at Mwami Adventist Mission Hospital, in the eastern part of Zambia where I did my primary and junior secondary education. Most of my early musical influence happened in Mwami where my father and mother worked as missionaries in 1986. While in Mwami, I sang with many groups including ABX (Adventist Boys in Christ), and the Mwami Sunshine Band (youth choir). I was the chorister for the band, Christ in Song, the male chorus and the Mwami Church choir where I was the youngest chaplin the church had ever had.
I am currently studying business management. I also studied IT (Information processing). I did music in junior high, and in senior secondary I sang with the group Mountain Movers, where I did a lot of rearranging music of W. Hooper. My family has strong roots in Christian music.
My family moved to Namibia in 1996. After arriving in Namibia , I began singing at the Rundu Seventh Day Adventist Church with my whole family including my late Dad. That was when my brother and I teamed up with the Mario brothers.
I have performed on many projects with VM6. I do vocal coaching. I also taught basic music, part time at Windhoek International School in 2007. I do most of the business affairs for VM6 and also help with music arrangement. I sing all parts, specializing in the lead voice (Second Tenor). I write songs and enjoy playing the guitar and harmonica though you won't see that on stage any time soon.
VM6 keeps me very busy, but in my free time I like going to the gym for bodybuilding or working on my personal business -music business consulting. I am also interested in computers, travelling, camping and swimming - anything adventurous!
